Colonial Turf Cup & Virginia Derby

I'm going to have some photos up from the Colonial Turf Cup and Virginia Derby later tonight. Saw some great racing with Sailor's Cap taking the Turf Cup and Gio Ponti taking the Derby, and I think I've got some pretty good shots. Sorry for the lateness on the Turf Cup shots (they're from June) -- I've just been busy and such. Anyway, get...excited? =]

I haven't disappeared.

Okay, maybe I have, but I should have some new photos up soon. Life's been busy and all that jazz, but hopefully everything will calm down in the next couple of weeks and I can upload some stuff on here.

I've been getting quite a few new watchers and favorites lately, so I just wanted to thank you all here in case I don't get a chance to leave a message on your page.

I've been super busy lately, but things will calm down soon and hopefully I'll be able to head out to a farm to take more photos. I missed a horse show this weekend because of all the work I had to do, but I might be able to catch the one on Wednesday. We'll see.

But thanks again for all the support. I really, really appreciate it!! :)

I wish Teuflesberg was running, but that's definitely beside the point considering I'm ecstatic he's even alive.


(P.S. I don't think I'll be getting a new account. I'll just clean out my gallery. And I should be adding new photos this weekend.)

Because my gallery is basically crap, I think I'm going to start over with a new account. I didn't have that many opportunities to photograph horses before, but now there's a barn up the road that should help me out with that. Now I just need to find time! I'll let you all know my new Deviant ID when I get it.
